RESIDENTS in Pakenham’s Heritage Springs estate who are fitness-conscious can now work out close to home.

A fitness trail has been installed, starting at the oval near Pakenham Springs Primary school up to the creek.

It includes a number of exercise stations, including the latest outdoor gym equipment.

Grant Neilson, of the Heritage Springs Sales Office, said the trail would benefit the wellbeing of locals.

“The idea is to promote fitness in the community,” he said.
