Motorcycle rider’s death

A 37-YEAR-OLD Truganina man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and slid into a parked car.

Witnesses told police that the victim was riding his Yamaha R1 motorcycle south along Elm Park Drive about 5pm last Thursday.

He hit the curb and then crashed into a car that was waiting to exit a driveway.

The man died at the scene.

The car driver, a 36-year-old woman from Hoppers Crossing, was assisting police.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
