SUNDAY saw the final home-and-away rounds of the 2009/10 metropolitan bowls season.

Pakenham 1 ended the season with a loss at Hampton (minus 11 shots and 4 points) but stay in the four. They will play their first final next Saturday on the unforgiving plastic at South Oakleigh.

Pakenham 2 continued their winning way with victory against Burden Park at home (plus 6 shots and 14 points). The twos have earned a home final and will line up against Mulgrave Country Club at Pakenham next Saturday.

Pakenham 3 had a great win at home against Cheltenham taking maximum points (plus 31 shots and 18 points) but unfortunately were not consistent enough throughout the season to make the finals.

Pakenham 4 were thumped by Hampton RSL – end of story.

Jim Power won the final HI-LO comp for the season.
