Kristine, of Nature Health Retreat and Day Spa, and John Foley are celebrating their honeymoon. When they return they will live in Pakenham.

LOVE was in the air on Valentine’s Day as Kristine Karakolis and John Foley joined in holy matrimony.

The two lovebirds wed at Glen Harrow Garden Cottages in Belgrave in front of 60 close family and friends.

Going against tradition, the two stayed in the cottages together the night before their wedding enjoying a massage and romantic dinner before waking up together on their special day.

During the ceremony, Kristine and John were flanked by four brides and four groomsmen.

Pageboy Tom and flowergirl Paige were also important members of the bridal party.

After the ceremony celebrations were continued at the reception on Puffing Billy.

“It was fantastic, we just went through all the places we had been as a couple, and decided that Puffing Billy would be the perfect place for our wedding day,” she said.

“It is our favourite spot.”

Dressed in a gold gown, Kristine said everything on the day went smoothly.

“All thanks to our wonderful wedding planner David Wilson,” she said. “Everything was just so magical and everything flowed.”

John, a true romantic according to Kristine, proposed on a weekend away in Metung.

The couple left for their honeymoon on Friday.

To be more specific the couple made their way to the airport on Friday, planning to take the first flight out and organise their accommodation when they arrived in the unknown location.

“We’re going to pick the first flight out,” she said.

“I’m personally hoping for sunny climate weather, hopefully I’ve packed the right clothes.

“It’s just something different. I can’t wait.”
