THE rain put a damp end to the final round of the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association on Saturday, resulting in all games ending in a draw and depriving teams of the chance to finish the season on a high.

Caulfield, Altona, Melton and Malvern make up the top four teams with first and fourth clashing at Caulfield Park and Altona and Melton playing at Macpherson Park Oval on Saturday.

In the West, Williamstown finished in seventh place, Yarraville in ninth followed closely by Werribee in 10th, while Sunshine had to settle for 12th place.
